[It's not like she can miss someone coming in, and there's only one person who would come here like this. Naturally, it's also no surprise that that certain person is currently in the middle of beating himself up. With Saber here, Sakura knew it was only a matter of time before things became complicated and difficult. She herself wanted nothing more than to find Shirou and desperately hold onto him after that day, selfishly wanting a source of comfort.
But she thinks she can't do that, especially not now. No matter how hard it was for her, she can't imagine how hard it must be for Shirou. She doesn't know what Saber said to him, or what he said to her. Right now, it doesn't matter. There still isn't much she can really do for him, but that's all the more reason she has to do whatever she can, no matter how little it is.
So she approaches him quietly, not saying anything even though it's obvious that it's her, and wraps her arms around him, pressing her forehead against his back as she holds him as tightly as she can. He might not be able to see her, but the small smile is evident in her voice.]
Welcome home, Senpai. [Because despite everything else, despite how terrible and drained and exhausted both of them feel, she is so very, very glad to have him home again.
god i can't believe i tl;dr'd this much over a fucking hug]
[Shirou places his hand on top of Sakura's and tries to relax more. This is way too stressful for him and he feel idiotic for not even saying hi to Sakura earlier. He should at least be courteous and greet his girlfriend. Literally the worst husband.]
I'm back, Sakura. [That's more like it.]
Sorry I didn't say anything before, but home. Didn't I promise that I'd take you out on a date once I finished helping Tohsaka? [He doesn't really want to talk about miserable he feels. Shirou just wants to give Sakura something to look forward to because he knows she misses him.]
You did, but you must be tired. Are you sure you don't want to rest first? [She knows she asked this before already, but it's different now. Shirou really must be exhausted from things, even in comparison to before. She doesn't want him to push himself just for her sake.]
It's alright. [She holds him just a little tighter, as if she could support him with just that.] We can go whenever you feel like it. After all, we have all the time in the world to now.
[Now that Shirou was back, things would be a little more normal, right? They could just be two people in love who spent time together like people in love were supposed to. It wouldn't be bad for them to at least have that, would it?]
How are you feeling though, Senpai? Are you hungry, or do you want to sleep? [What time is this even taking place at oops... But that first question is also a subtle YOU CAN TALK TO ME SENPAIIIIIIIIIII.]
[Shirou hugs Sakura back as tightly as he can in return. She's supporting him so much and he's thankful that she's there to help. He knows better now and he isn't going to hide what he's feeling from her.]
I'm not feeling well, but I'll sleep soon so don't worry. [He's emotionally drained and it would be wise to rest. At least he can be with Sakura and that's all he can hope for.]
Tohsaka she sent me home because she was worried. Sometimes she's too nice and I'll need to thank her later. Sakura? Stay by my side for a while. I want to keep holding you like this.

Of course. There's nowhere else I'd rather be anyways. [She snuggles into him slightly, cozy and close and comfortable. If just staying by him will help him relax, then by god, SHE'LL STAY BY HIS SIDE FOREVER!! Not to mention that, naturally, she's just glad to be held by him too. What a win-win situation.] Just let me know when you want to go to bed, and I'll get it ready.
[WHOA HUSBAND YOU'RE GONNA MAKE HER BLUSH really don't mind her as her cheeks flush.]
You're welcome, Senpai.
[And she's quiet for a while after that. After all, she's never really been one for a lot of talking, and she feels at peace just being together like this. Given everything Shirou's probably had to deal with though, she wonders if this is enough for him. They don't have to talk about the heavy things right away, but maybe there's something... Eventually, she speaks up.]
Did anything nice happen during the last two weeks? [Surely there was at least one or two good things, right?!]
[GOOD because Sakura is cute when she's blushing )X]]
Something nice? [Shirou's silent for a while. Nothing particularly stood out to him. It'll be bad if he stays quiet so he comes up with something to say so she won't worry.]
Tohsaka taught me how to do a lot of things and I cooked for her. [That's it. That's the best he can come up with.]
[That's more than enough to her alright... She's not sure she could say anything good happened during the last two weeks for her either. Whoops.]
You must've cooked a lot, right? I'm almost jealous of Rin; she got to eat your cooking before I did. [SHE'S JOKING REALLY even if she shouldn't... mfw her jealously can be so dangerous. At the very least, she really is looking forward to helping Shirou in the kitchen again.] What kind of things did she teach you?

She did? What about now, is she better? [Sakura you already have Shirou to worry about, add even more people and you're gonna work yourself to death...]
Maybe you could teach me what she taught you though. I'm not really good with the CereVice either.

She still taught me how to use the CereVice anyways because I don't use it that often.

Maybe you could teach me what she taught you though. I'm not really good with the CereVice either.

I'll teach you what I know then. I'd be more than happy to help you out, Sakura.

Thank you, Senpai. I'll do my best to understand what you teach me quickly.

But speaking of Rin...]
Were things alright with Rin, Senpai? She didn't treat you too badly or anything, did she?
[Not like she thinks Shirou can't handle himself BUT. Y'KNOW. ALWAYS GOTTA WORRY ABOUT SENPAI!!]

She's too kind for that.

Mm, she's a kind girl. I'm glad things went well between you two.

I'm glad too. I don't know too much about her. If I can help it then I'd like to get to know her more.
