[You have to understand now, Sakura might not be a great magus, but she's a magus. Technology is weird as hell. She's probably never even had an email address in her life up until now, let alone received an email. When she gets one from Rin, she's curious but confused as to what it could be. After all, she always could've just called her or used that video function these things have. With a naive mind that knows nothing of the horrors of the internet, Sakura opens the email.
The word regret doesn't even begin to describe it.
What is this? Why did Rin send her this? How does she know she slapped Archer? Why would she thank her for it? How is there music playing? Could you make it stop? Where did she even get this picture of her? Was this what people did with technology these days? Why does something like this even exist?
After a long and thorough debate with herself, with options ranging from deleting the email entirely to not responding and pretending to herself it never happened, Sakura settles on what to do.]
[The moment she reads Rin's reply, she feels awful for what she said. Sure they appear to be around the same age, but this girl is her granddaughter (apparently) still! She can't just hurt her feelings so bluntly like that!! Even if her gut reaction is still to be weirded out by the card... Truly this is the incompatibility of magi and technology.]
Of course not! I was just [even in text, there's almost a palpable pause here] surprised. I didn't know you knew that I slapped him.
I'm sad I couldn't find an actual 2000-ish website :(
It was probably mean of me to express my gratitude for that sort of thing. He recently ruined a lot of my clothes though so I'm glad he got his just desserts.
Plus I wanted to let you know that we're cool even though you slapped my Servant.
I was wondering why you would thank me for such a thing. It's a funny thing to be thanked for, but this makes it the first thank you greeting card I've ever gotten.
I hadn't thought about it at the time, but I should have been more considerate about the situation since he's your Servant. So thank you.
not even neopets had their old ones I was so disappoint
I never used a computer much back home, so that's probably why.
[And that she had no friends. And didn't socialize. And the only people who appreciated what she did were a dumb senpai and ridiculous teacher. But that's not something she needs to mention...]
I have seen some shit back in the day... grandparents were computer savvy
We didn't celebrate many holidays where you'd give cards like that.
[Which is true, but not the entire truth. Suddenly, Sakura's glad this is a text conversation. She's pretty sure she'd be able to hide it in person regardless, but it's... easier like this.]
[That sad moment when she can't hardly imagine someone she doesn't know that well being nice to her in general, let alone actually sending her cards... Things are changing around here!!]
[She doesn't know what she's in for... Let her believe for now!!]
Alright. I guess there's no choice but for me to take your word for it. [Whatever this is going to end up meaning?? She thinks it's a good thing for now, but. WE'LL SEE.]
CARD // I'm not even sorry
idek how to feel about this

I had to modify it slightly from another one, but I thought you might like it.
Do you hate it? :(
the mid-2000's were a time to be alive...

You're too nice of a person.

What about cards for the holidays from family ?

too hardcore tbh
Fortunately Rin is oblivious and instead makes a silent oath to be sure to send Miss Sakura a card every holiday. ]
That's not going to be a problem from now on !
